Artown is Heartown

It’s July and Artown’s 25th-anniversary festival.

Because of the coronavirus, this year’s festival will include more than 300 virtual and live events throughout Washoe County. The schedule includes the 5th Annual Chalk Art & Music Festival at the Atlantis, the inaugural South Virginia Plaza in Midtown Celebration, Art Spot Reno’s Downtown and Midtown Mural Tours, the Cordillera International Film Festival, the Midtown Burning Man Parade, and “Heartown,” Artown’s ambitious campaign to bring art to the people.
