ART WALK RENO
Restaurants, galleries and businesses in the downtown Reno Arts District are bustling every first Thursday because of Art Walk Reno.
Every first Thursday of the month from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., join us and see the works of local and regional artists on display in venues within the Arts District, including Metro Gallery, Sierra Arts Gallery, Riverside Hub Gallery, McKinley Arts and Culture Center and West St. Market Gallery.
The guided Art Walk officially begins at 5:30 p.m. at Metro Gallery, 1 East First Street in downtown Reno.
“It was tremendously exciting last month to see people from all parts of Reno enjoying emerging artists and each other’s company at stop after stop,” said Eric Brooks, art walk curator. “This month will prove to be even more exciting, with so much new art to discover.”
Official afterparty with Loud As Folk, (inside Pignic Pub & Patio, 235 Flint St.) featuring local, national and international musicians. A portion of all proceeds from Art Walk Reno and all donations from Loud As Folk will be donated to non-profit groups focused on art, education, and community.
Art Walk Reno is a community program of Art Spot Reno, the main portal for accessing information about what’s happening in Reno, Nevada’s dynamic arts scene.
